Flames Tickets for May 19th

No, we’re not kidding. Just off center ice in Section 227, row 16, seat 7 & 8. KS2 clients need only send an email to flamestickets@ks2.ca telling us which local registered charity you’d like to donate to and how much you’d like to donate.

The tickets have a face value of approximately $200. We’ll give the tickets to whomever is willing to donate the most to a local worthy cause.

Emails must be received before by 12-noon Calgary time on Wednesday May 19th. The recipient of the tickets will be notified by phone so be sure to include your phone number if we do not already have it.

A few simple rules:

- We’re only going to give the tickets to someone 18 years old or older
- You’ll have to be able to make the donation and arrange to pick up the tickets at the KS2 office by 4 pm on Wednesday May 19th.

Aggregators Gain Momentum in Online Shopping Industry

More than half of online buyers (54%) started their shopping at an aggregator site while just 46% started at a merchant site, according to a recent March 2004 study of over 3,800 online buyers by shopping search and comparison site BizRate.com. In just 15 months, online consumer behavior has shifted by 8 percentage points, tipping the balance in favor of aggregators for shopping searches.

Most KS2 clients are aware that they have the option of running contests and other creative advertising through the same web properties you’re already using. What you might not be aware of is just how powerful contests can be.

Consider the case of Mother’s Day. The Get Pampered contest with Soul-la-Vie Hair and Spa ran for the month of April and generated just over 2500 entries. That’s 2500 people in one month who went to Soul-la-Vie’s website, learned a little about the spa, and used that information to enter the contest.
